Danish Energy Export is working to organise a Danish pavilion at Onshore Wind Conference 2027 in the UK. We are inviting Danish companies to express their interest in a shared platform to showcase their solutions and connect with the British onshore wind industry.
A market with significant growth ambitions
The UK had 16.4 GW of installed onshore wind capacity at the end of 2025. Looking ahead, the UK Government’s Clean Power 2030 Action Plan sets an ambition of 27–29 GW in Great Britain by 2030, requiring a substantial acceleration in deployment over the coming years.
Following the removal of planning restrictions that had effectively blocked new onshore wind developments in England, the government published its Onshore Wind Strategy in July 2025. The strategy sets out more than 40 actions to address barriers across planning, grid connections, aviation, skills and project delivery.
These ambitions present potential opportunities for Danish suppliers across the value chain, from components and installation to consultancy, digital solutions, operations and maintenance.
Connect with the industry
Organised by RenewableUK and Scottish Renewables, Onshore Wind Conference brings together developers, investors, policymakers and suppliers. The 2026 edition took place in Edinburgh, with a programme covering project delivery, grid reform, routes to market and repowering.
Through a Danish pavilion, we aim to create a visible meeting point for Danish expertise and give participating companies a platform to strengthen existing relationships and meet potential customers and partners.

A Turnkey Booth at The Pavilion – Powered by Denmark is the quickest and easiest path to success at an exhibition. The turnkey booth is great for you who would like your own exhibition area where you can invite your guests in. For you who prefer to stand alone without sharing space with others and would like space to showcase your products and services. We will take care of building up the stand, you just bring your own displays or brochures.

There can be many reasons to participate with a poster solution at The Pavilion – Powered by Denmark. The poster solution is your alternative to being just a visitor or having your own larger booth. With a poster booth you get your own space. Here you can meet with customers and contacts, and be found by those you didn't know you should meet!
