MEET NORWEGIAN STAKEHOLDERS, POTENTIAL PARTNERS AND EXPAND YOUR NETWORK IN THE HEART OF THE NORWEGIAN OFFSHORE WIND MARKET - STAVANGER AND HAUGESUND

TENTATIVE PROGRAM

Day 1

  • Stavanger: Meetings with Equinor Renewables and Aker Solutions

Day 2 & 3

  • Haugesund: presentations from Haugesund and networking activities, including matchmaking sessions with the opportunity for company pitches from both Danish and Norwegian actors.

The Norwegian government has set an ambition to achieve offshore wind production on the Norwegian continental shelf by 2030, and aims to allocate 30 GW offshore wind by 2040. The first bottom-fixed offshore wind project, Sørlige Nordsjø II is underway after the Ventyr-consortia won the auction in March 2024. This is a milestone for Norway and proves that the offshore wind market is underway!

This creates great opportunities for Danish offshore wind companies who are interested in being “first-movers” in the emerging Norwegian wind market. With the aim of allocating new areas every second year (2025-2027-2029) the opportunities will only grow in the coming years.

As a follow-up on the ONS-conference in August and previous delegations to Norway, The Danish Embassy in Oslo together with local partner Maritimt Forum and Danish Energy Export are arranging a delegation trip for Danish Offshore Wind companies to Stavanger/Haugesund in November 2024.

There is a large demand for Danish solutions and partners, thus several Norwegian key stakeholders and potential partners has already stated their interest in a Danish wind delegation, such as Equinor Renewables,  Aker Solutions,  Deep Wind Offshore, Source Galileo Norge, Reach Subsea, Marine Aluminium, Karmsund Havn, and Deep Ocean among others.

Through collaboration with Haugesund Shipowner’s Association and Maritimt Forum (having more than 700 members) we will create a platform for networking and matchmaking, and an opportunity to enlarge your insight about the Norwegian offshore wind development and the role your company play in the years to come. You will also get the opportunity to present your products/solutions to relevant stakeholders and find out about future collaboration opportunities.

If you would like to learn more about the upcoming next tender rounds for 2025, including Utsira Nord (UN) – floating wind (FOW) – and the ongoing project Sørlige Nordsjø II (SNII) – bottom fixed with planned 3GW, this delegation trip is the perfect spot!
