Why China Wind Power 2026?
CHINA WIND POWER (CWP), the world's premier annual event for the wind power industry, celebrates its 19th edition in 2026. Over nearly two decades, CWP has not only witnessed China's wind sector evolve from its infancy to global leadership but has also grown alongside it as a trusted partner. CWP 2026 will take place October 14–16 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall), Beijing, spanning 120,000 m² of exhibition space. The event will comprehensively showcase the latest wind energy technologies, cutting-edge products, and high-efficiency solutions driving the global energy transition. Concurrently, the Hydrogen Energy Equipment and Fuel Cell Industry Exhibition (CWP HFC), Offshore Wind Power Engineering and Equipment Exhibition (CWP Offshore), and New Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition (NES+) will be held to promote the coordinated development of wind power and related industrial sectors.
The 2025 edition already highlighted the scale and influence of CWP: it attracted over 120,000 professional visitors, 941 exhibitors, and featured more than 300 concurrent forums and 300 guest speakers, confirming CWP as the most important platform for connecting with the world’s leading wind‑energy players.
China remains the world’s dominant wind market, with new installations reaching 51.4 GW in the first half of 2025, and offshore wind capacity topping 42.7 GW. The country’s continued commitment to expanding wind power — onshore and offshore — makes CWP the ideal gateway for international companies, including Danish technology and service providers, to access and grow in this strategic market.
